Last Christmas saw Blake team up with the incredible Dame Shirley Bassey for a spectacular version of ‘The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)’. With appearances on The Graham Norton Show and Strictly Come Dancing, The One Show, The David Walliams Show BLAKE have gone from strength to strength.

Their friendship and musical careers date back to their school days, but just six months after reuniting as adults via social networking site Facebook, BLAKE were
ready to launch their debut album in 2007. It was a phenomenal success going straight to No. 1 in the UK Classical Album Chart and taking the pop charts by storm. With over 100,000 copies of the album selling in just three weeks, the group earned their first Gold Disc. Recognised by the music industry for their talent, the album received the prestigious Classical Brit Award for Album of the Year in 2008 – a huge honour for a group that was still less than a year old.

This month Blake turn 10 years old! Yes, we boys (now men!) have been singing since the time before iPhones, a time before Justin Beiber, a time before the financial crisis and most importantly, a time before chilling at home with Netflix.
During that 10 years, you’ve been there for us, coming to our concerts, ordering our albums, getting us to the top of the charts, here in the UK and around the world. It’s time to celebrate, returning to big classical-crossover sound & a new album!
To make this anniversary album possible, we are using PledgeMusic which allows us to fund the album recording via your pre-orders & pledges for one-off gifts. The more people who help out, the bigger & better the CD will be!
To order your copy of the album, as well as some unusual & unique gifts from us (including personal singing lessons, photo shoots, day trips in our classic cars &private dinners at the Ivy!) simply click here: PledgeMusic
These are the songs we have chosen to sing, with a few tweaks & surprises still to come! We’re recording with a full orchestra, a big band, choir & some very famous guests (take a guess at who you think they may be!). Excited yet?

‘We’ get to play a BIG part in their celebrations ❤️🥂🎶😊🎉🎼😍
One afternoon back in March 2007, a group of singers were rehearsing an acapella version of Moon River in a London music college; little did they know that just twenty four hours later they would be offered a £1Million deal by Universal Records. This is how BLAKE’s incredible journey started…
Fast forward ten years to 2017 and BLAKE have toured the world, released seven studio albums, appeared on over 180 television shows, performed for royalty, presidents, prime ministers & Hollywood stars, helped raised millions of pounds for their favourite charities and become the closest of friends through it all.
When the group started the world was still buying CD albums, lots of them, in fact their first album sold over 100,000 copies in just three weeks. When they got together in Spring 2007, the iPhone hadn’t yet been released to the world and no one even knew what music streaming was! They were the first band to form through Facebook, the first group to find members via Twitter, their most popular songs have millions of views on Youtube and their social media following is the most dedicated any band could wish for, with thousands of interactions every day.
Much has changed over the last 10 years, but what hasn’t changed is the groups simple wish to make the best harmony music they can, keeping the British classical-crossover style strong around the world. They’ve performed in dozens of countries, including the UK, Italy, France, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Ireland, Bulgaria, Latvia, Greece, Russia, the UAE, South Africa, Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan, China, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, the USA, Barbados, Bermuda and Trinidad & Tobago. They’ve made friends and fans across the globe, enjoying the rich cultures they’ve shared.
The future is even more exciting than the past, with a 10 year anniversary album & DVD proposed by their record lable, along with extensive tours that take them to lots of Asia and the UK respectively. The boys couldn’t have achieved all that have, without the incredible support of their fans around the world, so their 8th studio album, will be dedicated to them. Their upcoming album will be a celebration of their classical-crossover roots and the harmony music they are all fans of. Discussions are in place to ensure this will be a worldwide release, so be sure to keep in contact via their social media for big updates.
For now, here is a little recap video of the last 3 years for the Blake trio, with some amazing memories just in this short time. Look out for their collaboration with Dame Shirley Bassey (more to come!), performing for 280 million TV viewers in China, live tour performances in many parts of Asia, outdoor festival shows in the UK and major TV performances too. It’s certainly seems to be getting busier and busier for BLAKE, so let’s raise a glass to another ten years of music ahead.
Join us for a fantastic evening with Brit-Award-Winners Blake!
Fresh from recent appearances on the Graham Norton Show, Strictly Come Dancing & The One Show, British harmony *** Blake present a brand new tour featuring the finest songs from stage and screen, with projections & lighting that bring the cinematic magic to life.
Linked together with the boys famous improvised banter, the show features music from Hanz Zimmer, Ennio Morricone, Leonard Bernstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Leonard Cohen, The Beach Boys & many more.
This is the ultimate celebration of movies and musicals, all sung in thrilling vocal harmony.
Fantastic review for #Blake from last night’s performance 😊
BLAKE returned to South Shields with an evening of beautiful music and famous songs.
The vocal harmony group have become regulars at the Customs Houseand have built up quite a following.
Their particular brand of music tends to attract a more mature audience. At 27, I’m pretty sure I was the youngest person there, but those who shrug them off as something that’s not for them are missing out.
The trio showed off their stunning vocals as they worked their way through a repertoire of #songsfromstageandscreen.
Kicking the show off with #Maria from #WestSideStory, the boys gave a beautiful performance.
Their perfect #harmonies are gorgeous, and the fact that they’re rather easy on the eye doesn’t hurt either. Looking dapper in suave suits, the guys put their stamp on the well-known tracks and made a big impression on the crowd.
Stunning performances came along with the likes of #MusicoftheNight,#SomewhereOverTheRainbow, and #UpWhereWeBelong.
And as the group were joined on stage by the theatre’s own choir#CustomVoices, they gave a show-stopping rendition of #Hallelujah.

and the tour continues!!!
Brit award winners Blake return to Eastbourne’s Royal Hippodrome Theatre on Saturday June 18 with a brand new show, Songs From Stage And Screen.
The trio, who are firm favourites with the Eastbourne venue and also patrons of the theatre, will be remembered for ever more as being the group who produced a Christmas single last year with Dame Shirley Bassey – this was the first time the Welsh diva had ever been involved with a festive offering in her entire career.
Blake were then proud to headline the Beijing Chinese New Year TV Gala for 2016, with a performance that was viewed by over a quarter of a billion people. The group sang three songs as the finale to the prestigious yearly variety show. Joining music stars pulled from all corners of the globe, Blake performed a number of their classical crossover hits with stunning harmonies, and also All Of Me which was written for the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton; a song which became a hit record in China during that year.
The three boys are no strangers to performing in China, with no fewer than two full tours and over 15 television appearances in the country since 2012. A further tour is planned for Autumn 2016.
Fresh from recent appearances on the Graham Norton Show, Strictly Come Dancing and The One Show, Blake present a brand new tour featuring the finest songs from stage and screen, with projections and lighting that bring the cinematic magic to life. Linked together with the boys’ famous improvised banter, the show features much loved music from Hanz Zimmer, Ennio Morricone, Leonard Bernstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Leonard Cohen, The Beach Boys and many more.
This will be the only performance this year by Blake and so fans will need to get their fix at this show.

A fabulous review about #Blake’s show last night, September 10, 2015 at #ThePlazaStockport with the #DoYourThing choir
“Well they do say “you can’t beat live entertainment” and seeing a band, or in this case vocal harmony group, do their thing live on stage at a concert venue is possibly the best thing you can ever enjoy. This evening the beautiful gem that is the Stockport Plaza paid host to the classically-styled trio Blake and their eclectic mix of genres.
Established in 2007 by Ollie Baines, the group also features the incredible talents of Humphrey Berney and Stephen Bowman, all of whom were reunited when Ollie sent a group message out to his schoolmates on Facebook to try and establish a singing project. Thankfully, including former member Jules Knight who has since pursued a successful acting career, their hard work and talents paid off when they signed a 5-album record deal. Ollie and Humphrey were both Choristers from a young age and Stephen apparently trained doing karaoke!
Now, alongside their 4th album ‘In Harmony’, they are touring the UK, with special guest Camilla Kerslake for some dates and a local community choir at each venue. Tonight’s show included pieces performed by and with the ‘Do Your Thing’ choir, made up of two groups consisting of 77 woman and 3 men, all of whom should be congratulated for being in such fine voice and showing their enjoyment.
Having performed with the likes of Alfie Boe and Katherine Jenkins at some of the UK and World’s most prestigious venues, it is no surprise these guys have got the art of audience interaction and pure public performance down to a tee, sparking thunderous applause in perfect unison, even if the swaying of arms wasn’t.
Starting their set with ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’, before Ollie took to singing Charles Aznavour’s ‘She’, ‘Nella Fantasia’ from the film The Mission and their spin on Snow Patrol’s ‘Chasing Cars,’ they progressed to welcoming the choir with ‘You Raise Me Up’ – a song they have previously recorded upon request by Camilla Kerslake who asked them to sing for her campaign to raise funds towards treatments for and raise awareness of Breast Cancer. With solos of ‘Summertime’ (Humphrey) and Elvis Presley’s Love Me Tender (Stephen) throughout, then came the most covered song (and the first song they recorded) ‘Hallelujah’, ending the first half with Andrea Bocelli’s ‘Because We Believe’.
Act Two was opened with the choir singing Queen’s ‘Somebody to Love’, before welcoming the trio back for the swaying was requested for ‘Up Where We Belong’ from Officer and a Gentleman. U2’s classic ‘With Or Without You’ was well received, as were Stephen’s version of Nat King Cole’s ‘When I Fall In Love’, Ollie’s ‘On The Street Where You Live‘ from My Fair Lady and their collective of Sting’s Fields of Gold which was also been recorded by Eva Cassidy.
Bringing stories of interest to the stage like who sang the songs of Eliza Doolittle instead of Audrey Hepburn and it being the same voice who sang the songs of West Side Story and appeared as a nun in The Sound of Music, are priceless and add to the passion and enjoyment they have to their careers. Sticking with Musical Theatre for the ever emotive Bring Him Home, which Ollie mastered with ease. Finishing off with Puccini’s Rugby rose that is ‘Nessum Dorma’, before taking the trick out of their sleeve in the form of ‘Jerusalem’, with full audience participation.
Accompanied by the wonderful Martin Riley who somehow manages to play ever instrument required in just two keyboards and a grand piano, the show is really well formatted with modest projects of the band name on a curtain behind the artists.
I draw on a lyric that stood out for me and I can only complete a review with such. From the macaronic (using a mixture of languages – Italian and English) ‘Because We Believe’, “Like Stars Across the Sky, We Were Born To Shine” certainly refers to this talented threesome.
Their next studio album hopes to be funded by donations or pledges from fans who have the opportunity to trade donations off for afternoon tea with the lads, presence at the studio, singing lessons, calendars and much more.”

So, it’s the day after the night before! Have you come down off cloud nine yet? Well, I’d like to keep you all up there for a bit longer as I think you all deserve it. A fascinating and fun time enjoyed at the State opening of Parliament, with friend & MP Nigel Evans – Enjoyed superb speeches from the Prime Minister & Simon Burns! A real honour to have been part of a historic day!
Her Majesty’s most gracious speech to both Houses of Parliament at the State Opening of Parliament 2015.
Was trying to think of the most appropriate way to get to my little jaunt at Westminster today. Taxi? Might get stuck in traffic and likely to have to listen to a cabbie moan endlessly about Uber. Motorbike? Arrive with crazy helmet hair (PM wouldn’t approve). So I chose the Underground, a 95% chance I’d get there on time. Thanks to TM Lewin for the suit and Tom Davies for the sunglasses, all blue, very appropriate 😉
A rather exciting day ahead of me. A kind friend has invited me to witness the State opening of Parliament and the Queens speech, really quite a huge honour and life experience. Doubt I’m allowed to take any selfies, it’s all rather serious😊

Very randomly we were joined by X-Factor winner Joe McElderry on a friends boat in Barbados today, so we challenged him to jump off the top with us, 20 feet high up in the air! He went for it 🙂

You Raise Me Up – Performed by BLAKE featuring Sarah Boulton – Holders Season 2015
#SarahBoulton “On Saturday March 21, I performed at Holders Season in beautiful Barbados and had the opportunity to open for British vocal group, Blake. One of my favourite parts of the evening was when the group had me up to share the stage with them in this gorgeous version of “You Raise Me Up” which they recorded in support of those who struggle with breast cancer. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did!

Our 2015 BLAKE Christmas Album will shortly be getting it’s official launch on PledgeMusic, so to celebrate we rehearsed some new festive harmony arrangements on the beach and built a ‘snow man’ the only way we could! More updates on this to come!
